Scanning
Xcode Care is designed to scan known Xcode, simulator, and developer storage locations locally on your Mac. Scan results explain what was found before cleanup.
Permissions
macOS may ask for folder access so Xcode Care can inspect developer storage. The app should remain useful without broad access, and any permission prompt should explain what it unlocks.
Cleanup
Cleanup is review-first. Selected allowed items are safety-validated and moved to Trash by default so you can recover them if needed.
Availability
Xcode Care is not yet listed on the App Store. This page will add the official App Store link when the app is publicly available.
