Terms of Use
Please read these Terms of Use before using AutoTranslate. By downloading or using the app, you agree to these terms.
1. Description of Service
AutoTranslate helps developers batch translate app strings on macOS using Apple's Translation framework and export Xcode String Catalog JSON files for localization workflows.
2. Your Content
You are responsible for the text and project content you paste into the app. You retain ownership of your source strings, generated translations, and exported localization files.
3. Local Data Storage
AutoTranslate is designed around local app state and local exports. You control generated localization files and where they are saved. See the Privacy Policy for more detail.
4. Purchases
AutoTranslate includes a free plan with limits of up to 10 non-empty strings and 2 target languages per export. AutoTranslate Pro Lifetime unlocks unlimited strings and all target languages through a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase.
Purchases, restores, billing, family sharing eligibility, and refunds are handled by Apple through the App Store and your Apple Account. AutoTranslate does not process payment information directly.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to reverse engineer the app, bypass app security, distribute modified versions, or use the app for unlawful activity.
6. Apple App Store Terms
Your use of AutoTranslate is also subject to Apple's App Store terms and the standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement.
7. Generated Translations
Generated translations are draft output. You are responsible for reviewing translations before using them in production, especially for product names, legal copy, App Store metadata, screenshots, and customer-facing strings.
8. No Warranties
The app is provided as-is. I do not guarantee that translations will be perfect, complete, or suitable for every release without review.
